How to check DU data balance (post-paid sim)?

There are three ways to check your DU data balance. 

Method one: Sending SMS on 1233

Sending SMS on 1233

Simply type the message “REWARDS” in your text box and send it to 1233. You will instantly receive a reply showing your DU data balance.

Method two: Using the DU mobile app

Using the DU mobile app

Start by installing the free DU mobile application from Google or Apple play store. Next, open the app and register through your phone number. Once this is done, your DU data balance will be displayed on screen. 

Method three: Using the DU portal

Open the DU portal and log into your account using du.ae/myaccount. Your DU balance will be shown on the webpage. 

How to check GCC roaming data balance (post-paid sim)?

Method one: Using the free DU mobile app

Method two: Visit the mydata.du.ae page and look for the Data Portal. You can check your GCC roaming data balance here.

How to check DU minute balance (post-paid sim)?

Method one: Sending SMS to 1233

Type the word ‘REWARDS’ in your textbox and send it to 1233. You will receive a reply telling the call minutes available on your post-paid sim card.

Method two: Using the DU mobile app

Install DU mobile application from Google or Apple play store and log in using your phone number. Your DU call balance will be displayed on your home screen.

Method three: Using the DU portal

Log in to your DU account by visiting the du.ae/myaccount page online. 

Important Note: You will receive an alert message through SMS once you have consumed 75%, 85% and 100% of your DU postpaid data or minute plans. 

DU Prepaid accounts 

DU prepaid sim cards offer much more flexibility and convenience as compared to its postpaid packages. For prepaid sim cards, you can either renew specific call plans or disable them after one-time use. All your data and minute packages are paid for in real-time. Follow the steps mentioned below to check the remaining data and minutes on your DU pre-paid account. 

Using the free DU mobile app

Simply type ‘BALANCE’ in your textbox and send it to 1355. You will instantly receive a reply stating the remaining internet balance on your prepaid DU sim. 

How to check GCC roaming data balance (prepaid sim)?

Open your dial pad and type *135# Click the call button and wait for your GCC roaming data balance to be displayed on screen.

How to check the remaining DU call balance (prepaid sim)?

Method one: Using the DU mobile app

Install the free Du mobile application on your phone and register with your phone number. Once this is done, your remaining minute balance will be shown on screen.

Method two: SMS to 1355

Type ‘BAL’ in your textbox and send it to 1355. Wait for a reply containing the remaining DU call balance. 

Method three: Dial *135#

Open your dial pad and enter *135# before pressing the call button. Check your DU minute balance from the displayed message. 

Important note: Just like post-paid accounts, you will receive an alert SMS once you have used 75%, 85% and 100% of your DU prepaid data or call plans.
